Hi all :-)

Asked abbey for all my charges only got sent the last years statements 12 months statements, i sent a non-complience letter saying i wanted ALL my charges sent. The 40 days are now up and i have recieved nothing more so now i go for the next stage i assume and send in the next letter demanding all my charges are sent to within 7 days or i will be taking this issue to the courts. Is this correct??

Many thanks in advance for any help/advice given :)

Morning SJ,

Abbey, can't seem to get their statements out on time. lol

Same happened with me and as the information was not forthcoming I estimated the amount based on the statements they had sent me. Might not be the best way to proceeed but it maintained momentum and preserved my timestable.

I had approx 18 mths statements and for the schedule of charges listed these clearly, then listed estimated charges based on the 18 mth figures, I explained in the letter and on the schedule that I was "forced" to estimate these figures as Abbey had failed to comply with the SAR.

No resp form Abbey so issued LBA with same info, and then filed in court. Strangely all my info turned up 3 days after Abbey acknowledged the claim in court. Then used a form in here to ammend the claim in court so all the figures were accurate.

Sorry for the longwinded response and hope it made some sence to you,

Any advise offered is my own opinion, and if in doubt, always seek clarification.
