Please can someone help.

FD have offered me part payment which I have refused, I added the interest on using the spreadsheet.

They are still charging me interest on my outstanding balance £4309 I am claiming back about £3900.00. The interst each month is about £30.00 pounds. Can I claim this as well now ??? Thanks for your Time

Thank You for replying.

I have refused the offer and given them 14 days before I start court proceedings. I worked out the interest already and sent them that. The interest I am talking about is the amount that they are adding on each month because I am overdrawn. about £30 each period. I hope that is cleare.

Yes you can claim the overdraft interest it is a bit more complicated as you need to understand the arguments for why you are entitled to some or all of it. It isn't as easy just claiming the whole lot back what you can claim for is the amount of overdraft interest that you have been charged as a result of being overdrawn due to the fact that FD have made charges to your account.

I find this spreadsheet to be the most helpful http://www.zen122856.zen.co.uk/CompoundSheet_v1.9.xls

The overdraft interest thing does take some getting your head round so feel free to ask questions.
