Hi all,

 

I recently took out a contract with Orange and returned the phone the next day UNUSED, SIM still sealed etc.

 

I've just checked my bank and Orange have took payment :mad:

 

Is there any letter templates on here please requesting companies to refund payments.

 

(I have cancelled my DD by the way....just!!!:oops: :oops: :oops: )

under the direct debit gurantee you can request your bank to recall a payment made in error (if i remember correctly)

It could well be that the payment was taken before the cancellation went through. You can have it recalled more easier if you can state they never gave you 10 days notice of the debit. As to the return, you do have a receipt for the cancellation?
