I calculate the APR to be 42.6% if it is 3% per month compounded.

(calculation is 1.03x1.03x1.03x1.03x1.03x1.03x1.03x1.03x1.03x1.03x1.03 minus 1 at the end).

Please let me know if your figure is the same.

hi hun i keep getting that as well ive tried a few calculators online and they all come back with around that figure now then my arguement is that on my loan agreement they have it down as wait for it 48.5% hmmmmmmm

not the 42-43% that i keep getting back so looks like i have been charged the wrong amount lol

Could the difference between the 48.5% and our calculated 42% be because although they quote 3% per month, they actually apply the interest daily? i.e. they do an interest calculation at the end of each day on the balance showing that day. In effect it would be compound daily interest?
