I had requested the statement of charges from Lloyds TSB for a cost of £10 which took about 4 weeks to arrive.

Using the templates on this site we sent a letter back requesting our £2850.

After approx two weeks Lloyds TSB have replied saying that their charges are lawful and in-line with other financial insitutions and they won't be refunding our bank charges. We have 30 days to reply or they will consider the matter resolved.

Just wondering now what the next step forward would be, should we reply using the template "step 3" - Letter Before Action.? As they did reply to my original request, they just said "no".

Or would it be ideally to go ahead with and submit a N1 form?

Thanks, Britboy32

It may be worthwhile sending them LBA and then if nothing further is received then go ahead with the N1.
