Issue you court claim, you have given them more than enough time to settle.

Start a thread in the Barclays forum and post your questions/progress there, read through the step by step instructions these will guide you through the process.

You need to decide if you are going to use MCOL or the N1, all the templates are in the template library.

Hi ugly, here is a link for you as you scroll down it you will see all the info is there for you.

You should first though start a thread in the Barclays forum, there are people there who can help you, as they are dealing with the same bank. Hope this helps Enaid

ugly,

welcome to the CAG site.

You've definately taken the first step into claiming back what's rightfully yours.

Spend time reading the FAQ's and the Step by Step guide as this will stop you making mistakes along the way. Use the letters and spreadsheets in the Templates Library as these have all been tried and tested in successful claims. Read as many threads as you can especially ones that relate to your bank. This is a SELF HELP site and won’t do the work involved for you. However, everything you need is on here somewhere.

Don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how stupid they may seem, but please remember that any advice that you receive is normally based on experience only and that you should seek expert advice if required.

Once you start the process of your claim remember to open a thread in the relative bank forum, this will enable you, and others helping you, to keep track of your claim.

Good luck with your claim.

You need to do what Enaid has said. the next stage of your claim will be that the court will send you an AQ. Have a read of this.http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/11644-allocation-questionnaires-guide-completion.html

Its your money taken unlawfully from your account and you have a legal right to claim it back.

ugly, You are well on your way. Defending your claim is quite normal and nothing to fear. Start a thread in the Barclays forum. Click on link. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/barclays-bank/ Where you will find alot of help and support for your claim. Also this is a self help site so you have to do your bit as well . So read up and prepare yourself as much as possible. Good luck.

I rang MCOL today to ask about my transfer - I was put on hold for a couple of minutes but got all the info very quickly, I then phoned my local county court who have said they've received it but paperwork etc means it will be 10 days before they send anything out.

Not sure if that helps, but they're usually helpful on the phone.

Reading your other thread [please keep to one thread] im guessing that barclays are late entering their defence.

check with the court before you do anything to see if the judge will back you up.

if you apply and they appeal it could slow you down even more than necessary cos they will be allowed extra time to get the defence in...

Ugly

You say on your other thread that you filed via MCOL and Barclays entered a defence. You have got no grounds to apply for judgement. It looks like you are waiting for MCOL to transfer to your local court. You need to contact MCOL and find out what is happening.
