Hi all - boy am i glad to see you all - after falling on hard times and getting sick, my account started to go into the red and overdrawn. Through the papers I found out I could claim back the charges - after claiming back approx £400 - (yet they still haven't acknowledged they owe me this) Royal Bank of scotland are now starting to make harassment phone calls to my house - my ill sister answered the phone to a woman who was extermely rude. Then another phone call...am expecting them hourly now up till midnight or whenever they stop - or are they 24hr now!!

This after I've asked them not to ring and only send letters.

Now I know others are fighting too, i am heartened to carry on and never give in, never surrender! I'm letting everyone know not to open accounts with them. When i was working and the money was pouring into their bank I could do no wrong and now they don't give a *****

They are also in breach of banking code guidelines by taking this action.

Of course the Banking code has no legal framework, although the FOS and OFT have said they will take a hard line in the future where it can be seen that failiures in their so called codes are breaching the rights of bank customers.
