Letter to Defendant's Solicitor

I have filed my case with MCOL against Nationwide.

I sent two copies of the schedule of charges to the Court Manager.

The Acknowledgement of service has been filed and Nationwide have indicated that they intend to Defend. This was expected.

 

I made a note some time ago that I should now send another copy of the schedule of charges to the defendent's solicitor. I can't find out where I read that I should do this.

 

Any one know if it must be done?

Wasn't one of the copies to the court manager to be sent with the court papers to the Defendent?

 

Do I do nothing and wait for the 28 days.

 

I would be grateful for some advice and a link to where I read this.

The ideas is that one copy goes to the court for them to file with the rest of your papers and the other goes to the defendant/their solicitor.

 

A brief letter along the lines of:

 

Dear solicitor.

 

Re sb8 v Nationwide, claim no 7QZ123456.

 

This claim was filed and served via Moneyclaim Online. Please find attached the schedule of charges that forms part of this claim.
