Barclays New terms and conditions

Hi all,

Ive started this thread because I just received a new terms and conditions leaflet.

You have to jump around it a lot to get the jist, but to me it looks like they are trying push through terms that'll allow them to charge what they want for services.

this comes into effect on May 14th 2007.

Havent read into all the implications yet, but I'm very suspicious of it.

So recorded delivery letters are on their way from me today

Yep, that's what they're trying to say, as have HSBC, 1st Direct and others.

I am helping my fiancee with her claim against Barclays. I have managed to get the 2007 T&C's but not those that were in force earlier - she had her account from 1998 to 2004. Do you, by any chance, have an older set of T&Cs for Barclays?

They should be listed on her statements or data when you get them as far as I know.

I tried going back online for details, but theres nothing when I try to look at my account.

Its possible Barclays are stopping people accessing this info. let me know how you get on

Dont think she has any of the statements.. but I will get her to look again. I managed to get the current T&C's but from what I have read they are significantly different...
