I mentioned this on another thread in Natwest section but wouldnt name the bank as it was nothing to do with me.

A friend of mine recently contacted a third party company to recover his bank charges from Lloyds TSB.

I am not advocationg anyone does this or anything but he is a Self Employed engineer who spends all week away from home and the weekends with the kids so suited him.

They claimed his charges and Contractual Interest which came to just under 4900. He is vague as he did not exactly undersatnd what the firm were telling him but it would seem the bank did not submit some papers in time, possibly court bundle. The firm receved a Judgement against the bank and the banks defence was thrown out.

High Court Bailiffs today went to Lloyds TSB in Bradford (Dont know which one as I dont know the area) but it was the one nearest the HCEO offices. The bank asked to pay in cheque but the bailiff insisted on cash.

He now has to wait 14 days before the money will be released from the bailiffs.

A person is only as big as the dream they dare to live.

Good things come to he who waits

Its your money taken unlawfully from your account and you have a legal right to claim it back.

Sure is Park

Seems srtrange that this topic has only drawn your reply despite 70 views. Thought it could have opened debate on the use of HCEO as it seems some are for or against.

I admit ignorance but would be interested to learn

LOL

He received his money bang on 14 days from the bailiffs and his wife has very kindly bought a new kitchen.

He did take us out at the weekend though and we got ratted :)
