I have sent off my first 2 letters to Halifax, of which I have a reply of them saying the financial service authority, gives them 8 weeks to investigate and respond to any complaints.

if for any reason, they are unable to respond fully to my letter they will update me in 4 weeks.

Do I procedure with the 3rd letter, filing with court proceding or wait until I hear in 4 weeks- what do i do

As long as you have sent both letter and waited 14 days for a response to the LBA then start your claim now.

The 8/4 weeks is a delay tactic, ignore it.

Thanks alot for the advice, the 14 days is up Friday 13th April (not good luck), so I might need some help when I'm writing to the court, is it ok if I ask again for help if I get stuck

Of course, I have posted some links for you to read whilst you are waiting.
