I was wondering how much the banks are wasting dragging these claims out.

Based on the BAG figures, 6668 people have got money back.

I am presuming for this, that they all paid £130 costs andf £100 AQ fee

That would mean that the banks have tossed away approx £1,733,680.

This does not include the interest they have had to pay out as well.

And all those letters they send out during the process (which they claim cost them £30 a time).

Also their solicitors fees for every case.

It just shows how many cases are being fobbed off by them to allow them to waste this money dragging cases out.

If anyone has any figures, i would like to try and find out how much they lose on an average case.

AQ fee only payable on claims over 1500

Whatever I post is my opinion and should be taken as such, an opinion. While it is what I believe and is offered in good faith, it should not be taken as a statement of truth
