I received a letter from the group at Abbey Head Office that seem to get all the cases where court proceedings have been issued (See my thread "Entitled vs Abbey"), and I notice that they have some subtle variations on the correct way to address our letters.

Inside the letter, it shows on headed notepaper;

Location Code: TS6 B03

Abbey National House

2 Triton Square

Regent's Park

London

NW1 3AN

while the envelope is stamped on the outside;

IF UNDELIVERED

PLEASE RETURN TO

ABBEY PLC

2 TRITON SQUARE

REGENTS PLACE

LONDON

NW1 3AN

Notice the Regents Place/Regent's Park? I also note that the Acknowledgment of Service got filled out with Regents Park, with no mention of "Location Code: TS6 B03".

Now, I've never worked in a Post Room, or for the Royal Mail, but I know how important the right address can be when somebody is sending something to ME! In this case, the Postcode and Post Town are all that should be required to get it to the Abbey HQ, but once there, it would obviously help the Post Room if we all used the appropriate details on the envelope.
