Hello everyone,

I have successfully reclaimed charge from both woolich and Abbey. My question relates to Abbey and the six year time limit. When my account was closed it was £700od but there are £1400 of charges that fall outside the 6yr time limit. Abbey have now passed the od amout to a debt recovery firm.

My question is are there any indications of the yorkshire bank revelation extending to other banks, hopefully Abbey?

hey up regarding this claiming beyond six years,

do you have to have all your statements or can you request them beyond the six years too ?

If you use the SAR template from this site it does not limit the request to six years. They are obliged to send all information they hold on you irrespective of the date. If they only send six years worth send the non compliance letter and point out the fact that the have not complied with their obligations by sending six years.
