Hi Guys

i am at the last stage of claiming bank charges and am ready to go to court to claim them, i have sent them letters asking for the money to be returned without any luck, they did get back to me to say the charges were legal. the last one i sent 1 week ago advised if they do not reply i am taking them to court.

this is what i need to know, the charges are for missed direct debits, and being overdrawn.

am i right to go ahead with this and what is the best way to go about it.

Thanks in advance

toffer seeing as its your 1st post we need to know if you used the letters and procedure advocated in the FAQs and step by step guide?

If so then after sending your LBA and the expiration of the 14 days you file at court.

Hi there i certainly did, i followed them all the way through, used the templates and sent the £10 to get the bank statements, got the stalling letters. the claim is for £2000, they offered £200, i refused and said i would settle for £1500. not heard anything back for about a fortnight.
