Barclays Business Account

Hello to everyone in what so far appears to be a fantastic consumer action website/forum.

 

I do my business banking with Barclays. I have already read elsewhere in these pages that the 'Account Control Fee'- normally £12- are worth at least trying to reclaim, and with the aid of the templates I will be doing so.

 

However there are other fees which appear on my statement for which I have not been able to find any information. They are as follows, and I would be very grateful if someone could advise me if they are reclaimable:

 

a) 'Automated Entries'

 

b) 'Standard Entries'- these tend to range from £50 - 60.

 

c) 'Maintenance Fee'

 

 

I will kindly receive any relevant advice.

The 'charges' you have listed sound like facilities more than charges, but a Moderator or someone who has claimed on a biz account will know better

In addition, can someone advise whether the they have actually recovered the Account Control fee?
