Hi All

Sent my SAR to NW and got back six years of statements minus 15 months. Wrote to them pointing out their error and they responded with a letter asking for a further £5 "which covers all accounts requested", though I only made a request for one account as one account is all I have. Have many people experienced these sorts of delaying tactics?

Everyone has been at the receiving end of one of Nat West's intimiditating. We would like you to drop your claim tactics. So keeped focused and i am afraid. Fight the good fight.

I actually never paid the DPA fee, I only made a simple call to them, and next thing you know - copies of my statements arriving in filthy torn brown envelopes

I suggest you phone them and explain that you are yet to get your statements as you had asked, bring to their notice that you can/ and will if need be, make a complaint to the DPA office, as detailed in your initial letter

if you dont get your data you need evidence, preferably writtne evidence, so if you phone then follow up with a letter.

Assuming you sent the SAR and paid the fee correctly then they have 40 days from receipt, remind them when you speak to them.

If they tell you the ICO has given them more time to comply, ask them which sectio of the DPA gives the ICO, or indeed anyone, the right to extend that stat period ?
