:confused: hi all,iam new on here,my name is mandy,and iam new to all this

iv,e sent abbey a letter and £10,two weeks ago to get the back dated statements,for six years to find out how much iv,e paid in bank charges,which i think will be alot,

does anyone know how long you have to wait for them to send them to you,and has anyone taken on the abbey,,,,,,,good news to all the ones that have sorted theres out,:shock: any help with anything would be great

Hi Mandy


and welcome aboard, First question, using the Subject Access Request, Data Protection Act letter gives the bank 40 calander days to provide you with the information requested.


Hoe long the process takes varies form person to person, have a look in the Abbey successes




You should find mine in there somewhere ;)


Here are a couple of links that I suggest you always keep them to hand.






When you are comfortable start a thread "Madhooner bird v Abbey" in the relevant bank forum as then people with specific experience of this bank can offer support and advice.


There is a lot of information to take in here so if unsure it is always best to Ask first.


If you need a quick answer to a question you could always try the chatroom as there are usually some very helpful people in there.
