Hi Everyone,

I am in a bit of a strange situation with Capital One. I sent my original request for £400 on 26th February. I didn't hear anything so I sent the LBA on 12th March. Still nothing, then just filling out MCOL today, and along came the postman with a letter from our friends at Capital One. It offered me the difference between the £20 charge and £12 charge which came to £184 (doesnt quite add up to me but hey). Anyway the strange thing is I received the letter today but it was dated 9th March 2007. So it was sent before I sent my LBA. I'm a little confused now in how to proceed. I'm highly likely to reject the letter but wonder if I should just wait a week or so before continuing with my LBA as they may come back with a better belated offer after they process my LBA.

What do you guys think??

More likely to be the only offer you get.

Reject it and go for the lot. Ignore their attempts to slow the process down.... Stick to your own timetable.

Good luck.

Regards, Rooster.
