Hi I have don't have time to read all the posts on HSBC sorry,

I am currently claiming for myself on Abbey who are delaying every way possible, but had two accounts with Nat West paid up in full on first letter.

I have just started today to help a friend claim her hubby's charges back from HSBC, prem letter going in the post tomorrow with a copy of charges.

So my question is what should I expect from HSBC?

Nat West Settled 2 acct's before action:

£2194.77 settled £1904.00 08/01/2007 less interest

£650.93 Settled overpaid GOGW £850.00 02/01/2007

Applied Abbey statements -40 day up 24/04/06(arrived 30/06/06)

Prem 04/01/2007 - reply rcvd 22nd Jan advising not paying

LBA 22/01/07

14/02/07 N1 filed @ local court

21/02/07 issued claim

23/02/07 deemed served

25/02/07 Abbey acknowledgement defend in full.

19/03/07 defence + 50% GOGW

13/04/07 AQ final day for submission

30/04/07 DEFENCE STRUCK OUT "ABUSE OF PROCESS"

01/05/07 Judgement order

8/05/07 Warrant of Execution requested

You should expect the same sort of treatment from HSBC as you get from Abbey. They will take you all the way to getting an extension to the AQ and even filing their AQ before making an approach with a full offer. :)

hiya

a long wait!! lol

they are paying up but seems like they've got so many claims at the mo - they're going round in circles. peeps are getting as far as the court bundle before they're coughing up. on the other hand, others are getting paid out after prelims and lba's so no continuity at all.

good luck with your hsbc claim - tell us how you're getting on.

Thank you very much for the advice guys rep points have been left :)

I will pass on the infornation to my friend, if they are like Abbey then I know exactly what she should expect, I was under the impression Abbey were the worse ones for delaying tactics, maybe not then.
