Barclays have offered to refund me the differance between my actual charges and the OFT recommended charge of £12 I have decided to accept this as partial refund as even a charge of £12 is in excess of what it actually costs them in sending a letter. Have I done the right thing? Any advice please:???:

we are all with you

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi,

I had the same offer from RBS - Mint Credit Card they refunded £304 which we accepted as a partial settlement. Keep going...Mint have just paid us the other £516! Unfortunately their letter arrived 4 days after we had issued through MCOL so now they owe the court fee + interest too!!:D

Keep to your timescale not theirs & good luck!
