Hi Everyone,

I am new hear and have been reading everyones stories so have decided to take the plunge myself.

I have askedmy bank for copies of my statements and have received a letter from them saying they will be providing them by courier.

However, early indications from my last 3 years statements show that my total may be over £5000! Does this mean that I won't be able to proceed through the Small Claims court?

Hi Lulan

Is the £5000 calculated with the Statutory Interest or with out it?

Some courts are allowing figures in excess of 5K to be held in small claims, others are pushing it in to fastrack. No easy answer.

You need to start a thread in your banks section so those already familiar with your bank, can advise and help you
