I need some help and advice - please. I had a contract with the Carphone warehouse (02). The phone was lost/stolen in August last year. As you would expect they would not cancel the agreement as it had until 22 December to expire.

Charges kept being applied. On the 12th December a disconnection fee of £128.00 was applied to the account. From August to December there was a total bill for £228.15 which was paid to Carphone Warehouse but I received a letter from a debt company stating that there was an outstanding blance of £128.00 - which obviously I was not aware that they had applied - do I have to pay the £128.00 if the contract came to an end on 22 December why did they disconnect on 12 December. They have sent me a rather long letter. I am on benefits - disability - and they are making my life uncomfortable. Can anyone give me advice. THANK YOU.
