Hi All,

I know this may be a stupid question but I want to make sure I am completely clear on everything before I begin!

I know that the small claims court usually has a limit of £5000 but what if my charges come to over that (which they well could!)

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick but can I still pursue through small claims?

Thanks in anticipation

Hi Lulan,

My claim with lloyds is for £6,800 and the court have allocated my case to the small claims track. I think no matter how high your claim is you should always ask for the small claims track as you are not a company like the bank so for you to be on a equal footing so to say you need the small claims track so costs would not be such a issue, if you put in a search for small claims track I am sure you will find the arguments you need to support it.

Good luck and I hope you get it.
