I am helping my daughter claim back nearly £4000 in charges and now interest from Barclays and we have had a hearing date set for May.

I have downloaded the basic court bundle to go through and have read all the information on the website. The query I have is that the court requires signed statements setting out evidence from the parties themselves (my daughter) and witness (me). I said that I would be a witness as I dealt with Barclays when my daughter was too distressed and suffering from depression (brought on by the worry).

Any tips on what we need to send to the court and copied to Barclays would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Val

If you want to PM me your email address i can email over to you the witness statement that you are required to complete for the court. However, whilst it is imprtant you get your paperwork ready, i would really be surprised if you actually went to court with this if it is just bank charges, as Barclays, amongst others are not attending.

Good luck
