In last 12 months, number of claimants increased by 4000%

FOS are going to extend time they are taking to investigate

Lloyds/TSB and Nationwide comment that they think it will eventually lead to all main banks charging for current accounts

Well it said FOS received last year was approx 20 30 complaints a day now its around 2k:D

 

They said they estimated 2 million customers currently claiming back their charges

The people are finally revolting and the banks dont like it-they may olose money.

 

But I am sure that will still find ways of screwing us in the future

I posted this earlier in my thread before finding the general section.

 

Has anybody seen the news recently, On the bbc news page it's got an article about the OFT statement that was due out this month, It seems that they are not going to do that but have decided to make an even deeper investigation, as they expect that if they cap the charges like they did with credit cards, all the banks will do is move the charges else were. The new OFT statement is now due towards the end of the year.
