Well here goes.. DPA and CCA SARs in the post today to them.. Let's see what they come up with..

Am I right in thinking they have 12 days then a further 30 to comply with the S78 request before they commit an offence, or am I getting confused somewhere along the line?

Stay safe

Hello Firemagi,

Will the CCA request, they would have committed an offence if they don't supply the agreement within 12 days. You have to them give them further 30 days (calendar). If they do not supply within this time they can only enforce with a court order (and only then if they can provide the information to the Judge which would beg the question why they didn't supply it before). Because of the penalties, they are unlikely to do so.

I hope this helps!

Regards,

Corn:)

Oh don't you just love stock letters.. Best bit about it? I did not even make a complaint. All I did was stick them with a S78 CCA and a DPA SAR.. Now correct me if I'm wrong here, but these are not letters of complaint..

Ah well, the longer they faff about the deeper the whole they dig for themselves, and the better it is for us here, Gotta love 'em, in a strange sort of way.

Stay safe
