Hi everyone

My mum as been on at me for ages to claim my bank charges so I thought I would give it a go on mine and my husbands seperate lloyds accounts.

Whilst he still banks with them I managed to pull all his charges for the last 2 years and so far I have sent them the 2 first letters detailing charges but to date have had no reply.

I shut my account because in 3 months with the knock on effect I totalled over £1500 in charges, I have requested my list of charges over 4 weeks ago and still no reply, they have not cashed my cheque but my letter was signed for. I called the bank and they informed me that it was a 40 day wait from the date that they cashed my cheque?? surely thats not true.

I am really worried that I have jumped in feet first without really thinking about it and it scares me that I haven't had any acknowledgement whatsover on mine or my husbands accounts.

Is this normal or should I just file his claim next week when deadline is??

Please help.
