Hi, I wonder if anyone can help?

I received a pcn, totally forgot about it and now have £120.00 fine, I have paid £50.00 of this.

When I was looking at the penalty charge it stated that I was parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours. I now know this isn't true from looking at the street sign.

Is it to late to go back to the council stating this?

Can you give more details

Is this a Charge Certificate you have received or a Notice to Owner.

If it is a Charge Certificate did you ever receive a notice to owner (are you the owner / registered keeper)

Do I go straight to the council with this, I have taken a photo of the sign,

which says restricted between 2-3pm I was parked at 12.30.

If you nip across to

FightBack Forums -> Parking Tickets

They have a load of experts on tickets and procedures over there, if you post details of the ticket and comment on whether the Notice to Owner, Notice of Rejection and charge certificate (if any) states 28 days from date of issue or 28 dates from date of service or date of delivery.

Either scan or type word for word what is on these documents (excluding info that could identify you)
