hello i am new to this website and still trying to find my way around

i got a question and need an advise from all of you please

my baby is 15 months old this month(march) and it was recently in january this year that i found out we can get child tax credit. i am a bit behind with all this benefit thing as i never claimed before

anyway tax credit are only going to be repaying me back 3 months leaving me 10 months unpaid, totally about £3500 that i will not be getting

i have asked them to send me an appeal form as i am upset about this and this is my money that i should have claimed for but wasnt aware i could get until the health visitor advise me to

my questions is will i get those months money back? or is there a need of me appealing for this? please all your help will be greatfully received as i am so confused to what to do. and i dont want to lose this money

just like they said "it yours, claim it"
