Well if you sent a SAR, it seems to me they have put the wrong letter in the wrong envelope, because you have not complained yet, you have mearly asked for you statements !!!!!!!

I did see another thread where an SAR was requested, and the branch manager sent a letter asking for a meeting to discuss the account.

Perhaps the SAR request is now alerting Lloyds to the possibility of a claim?

What other reasons are there for people requesting statements going back 6 years? not many i bet.

Your reply does seem to be a little OTT though, perhaps it is a genuine mistake.

Interesting....Let us know what Lloyds have to say.

Today i recived all my statments from lloyds along with this letter..

Dear sir.

I refer to your recent request for copies on your account to enable you to reconcile your bank charges.please find enclosed detals of charges going back to the date you opened your account,or 1st september 2001.whichever date is most recent. If there are no charges for a certain period then charging details will not be included.

You may now wish to proceed with your claim for reimbursement of charges but,if you do feel you need futher statements this will take longer to access our archived data. Please let me know by returning this letter in the attached pre-paid envelope and i will order them for you.

yours sincerely.. seems very freindly, and not at all what i expected..

ive worked out thay owe me £1060 + interest..

ive put all these charges on the spreed sheet but cant seem to add the intrest at the 8%...this could be due to me being with aol..any ideas how to get around this..thanks taff..
