No, not yet. They have on occasion, but now the claims are flooding in, and one person has been awarded compensation from A & L by courts, for retaliatory closing of their account, its going to make them more careful about closing peeps accounts out of spite and retaliation. Always best to go open another account somewhere just to be on the safe side, but touch wood, to date, the majority have not had their accounts closed yet by Natwest. Hope this helps. Dont let it stop you from claiming back what is rightfully yours though. Be brave. Its easy. Really, just ensuring you read through all the FAQ's section first so you dont slip up and know what youre doing. Really, Im not super brain, but if I can do it, anybody can. And I am. Am at Court state now. Filed yesterday.

Thats right its best to open another just to be sure, although Natwest have not been routinely closing accounts. Also worthy of note is the FOS is ordering banks to pay £200 compensation if they close accounts where a customer has made a complaint.

Best of luck

OOOOOh, so even better. If they do close your account, you can sue them again for that, and get another fat cheque for £200 ish. Ha. What a nice way of making money. Lovely. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Go for it. Be Brave. You have nothing to lose as its money you thought you had already lost and was gone forever anyway. Theres enough support on here to get you through it. Do it.
