Hi, Snowwhite.

I have been in the same situation a couple of years back and understand the distress it causes. I asked for my case to be re-investigated, this took a few weeks, finally they replied and the sum owed was less than half their original figure. I asked if they could deduct this from future payments at an amount that I could afford, which didn't leave my family struggling.. We settled at £10 per month. Twelve months down the line I reclaimed and they said there had been a mistake, they sent me all the money that they owed me.

The agency is so incompitant and inconsistant. I urge you to challenge their decision. Don't let your family suffer due to their incompitance.

Best Wishes.

Happyolddog.
