Hi all

 

Just wanted to run something by you all for some advice:

 

Barclays have responded to my initial claim letter within my 7 day deadline with their standard acknowledgement letter from Anita Hicks.

 

It states that they will be in touch with me by a certain date.

 

However, should I wait to see what their response is, or play hardball and begin the legal process as they have disregarded my 7 day warning to issue a full refund?

 

I have registered with Moneyclaim in preparation.

 

I know some of you have phoned the bank at this stage and had some success, however, I would probably prefer to conduct this matter in writing only.

 

Should I wait for their response or issue proceedings?

Which letter do you send?

 

Also I sudden.y realise that you have laready started a thread about your claim and that this is a new one.

 

Please will you keep to one thread. Otherwise you are forcing us to scour the forum to assemble the various pieces of your story. Not very helpful :x

Which of my threads do you consider my start thread so I copy and paste my question for your ease of reference?

 

I have posted individual questions about my claim so far - as and when I required assistance on a particular subject, rather than discuss my claim in full.

 

Additionally, this is just a thought - with the amount of "bank lurkers", surely a combined thread will build up a picture of a claimant and give the "enemy" an unfair advantage?

 

My letter was worded very similarly to the standard letter doing the rounds and requested a full refund within 7 days or else I would start proceedings.
