Sent my LBA on th 15th may so they have until the 29th to respond.Then i can file my claim.I can,t wait.

I wont forget this site when im loaded again its soooo helpful.Thanx

Aye it's normal, I got a response a day or so ago before the time was up

LBA email sent 26/04/2006 - Claiming £1073

Offer of £201 on 13/05/06

Offer refused on 15/05/06

Offer of £692 offered on 15/05/06

Offer refused on 18/05/06

Offer of £850 on 18/05/06

Offer accepted.

 

Case closed

hi midge ive had the same thing, i call it a blah blah blah letter lol im about to send my lba off soon on tuesday and we will see what comes from that.

Halifax preliminary letter sent 17/05/06 charges £2661.00

Bog Standard blah blah blah letter received 22nd May 2006.

received lengthy letter dated 24th May 2006 offering £605 pah!

letter before action sent registered 5th June 2006

letter received in response to lba offering £1801.00 errrrr no ta

court action filed 23rd June 2006

deemed served to bank on25th June 2006

notice of acknowledgement of service has been filed

they intend to defend

7th july received letter PAYING IN FULL!!!

 

10th July cash deposit £112.58

10th July cash deposit £2869.00

:D :D :D :D

 

HALIFAX SETTLED IN FULL

Got a letter today off the customer relations manager offering me £90 in full and final(im claiming £750 +intrest and costs) Then on the acceptence to be signed and sent back it states £60 the sneaky rats.Genuine mistake or [problem]??

There time is up on monday 29th and ive already filled in the moneyclaim thing.

Can any one tell me if i should refuse this offer in writing or just ignore it as the LBA is up on the 29th anyway and i intend to file the claim on the 30th.
