Can anyone point me in the direction of spreadsheet for wasted costs. Is there one or do i just make one up.:|

Tumble

bump

Can anyone help - I have used the excel advanced spreadsheet with no problem - until recently....

As its taken a few months to file all this stuff, I have been draggin the rows down, in hopes that the formulas will copy themselves as I enter in the additional overdraft charges. However it wont calculate anything so I am just left with the interest charge without being able to see what the overdraft interest claim would be for that month. I cant see the formula to make the adjustment....

any help...

Just as a quick reminder, Vampires spreadsheets also include Contractual and compound interest spreadsheets. Which spreadsheets for banks and credit cards are people now advised to use given the changes which have gone on with claims since the lovely lady first created these.?

YEs if you click on that link, that link works. When you click on the spreadsheet you want, say 12 or 13, you get an HHTP 404 Not found error.

We have been discussing these problems here & are still awaiting an answer ....

Here is my post asking the same Q ..

'oh I didn't realise but the actual links on the page are not working are they!!??

I wonder if she has withdrawn them for some reason then .... does she still post here ... I noticed she has changed user name & is not a moderator any more ..... :-|'

Hi,

Sorry for the rookie question but is this spreadsheet used for detailing charges just before issuing your claim (the sheet mentions the 8% court thing) or is it used as a schedule of charges used for the preliminary letter.

Or are they designed for both ie for the preliminary letter I should change the 8% interest rate by the card's interest rate to calculate interest on the charges.

Oh and one other thing. On the complex sheet why is there a 'statement balance', 'amount paid' and 'remaining balance' column? Isn't that irrelevant since the interest applies to the charges rather than the balance. I'm sure I must be missing something.

Thanks.

HTTP 404 PAGE NOT FOUND.

It's ok matey - that Q was before I realised the main page works but none of the links ....

I've tried e-mailing vamps but it appears her e-mail addy is now closed too - Still no answer on the spreadies from anyone either?

Dunno what else to suggest here if I'm honest!

Thanks chezt,

when I copy one of my old ones and clear it to start again it doesn't add the interest.

I've tried one of the other spreadies but it has interest @ 8% and I don't know how to change it !

Thanks chezt,

when I copy one of my old ones and clear it to start again it doesn't add the interest. That will be because you are actually deleting the formula within the boxes - it's gonna be a bit long winded but you need to go through more carefully & remove old info but nothing where the spready has actually calculated it .. ie no boxes with formula in (hope that makes sense?)

I've tried one of the other spreadies but it has interest @ 8% and I don't know how to change it ! That won't work anyway as the 8% stat interest is calculated differently

Hope that helps? :)

Phatram, this is what i did,

Open up the spreadsheet kind you need, compound, contractual or 8%, preferbly one you dont use anymore.

When the spreadsheet opens, click on "Revisions" go back to the earliest date you can.(Hopefully this will be a time before a formula was deleted, so should give you a working spreadsheet)

Copy it and rename it, i renamed mine Blank Such and Such. You can find the copy button, by clicking on file.

Then you have a blank template to copy from all the time, everytime you need another spreadsheet, just do another copy of the blank one.

Hope this helps :)
