Why don't you use the spreadsheet in the library Lillboy? You simply enter the amount of each charge and the dates they were applied and it calculates it all for you. It also updates the interest on a daily basis. Much easier!

That's only any use up until the day you file your claim; which lillboy is doing. Once you file your claim you have to put what interest you are claiming from that moment until the day your case is heard.

Printed todays spread sheet off as well to prevent it from auto up-dateing. just deciding which card to pay with.

 

Who do i Pm with Claim Details i got them ready.

If you need to recalculate the spreadsheet for a particular date, open the spreadsheet, change the system clock to the right date and press 'F9' in Excel to recalculate - just don't forget to put the system clock back to today's date!

 

PM the claim details to any mod once you have the claim number etc.

Thank you for your offer in respect to the unlawful charges levied by First Direct, I would like to remind you that this claim has been submitted and acknowledged, that the claim is now subject to Interest as identified in the claim.

(The claimant claims interest under section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984 at the rate of 8% a year from date money was removed from account to 19/06/06 of £251.90 and also interest at the same rate up to the date of judgment or earlier payment at a daily rate of £0.26)

Interest = £ 256.51 (this is as today’s date)

Hi all

I want to know why they put the confidentiality clause onto their letter then also put on the top WITHOUT PREJUDICE. i am right in believing this means that the letter cannot be shown in court. so therefore they could not enforce the confidentiality element of the letter.

 

Just in case they can, i dont want to discuss this claim any more as i forgot to do something.

If you agree to confidentiality (inadvertently or not) then unfortunately you ARE bound by it. If you have done so, then simply fill out the survey and advise the mods/admins to mark your litigation area thread as "concluded". If that is in fact the case.
