I'm finding this all overwhelming and don't know what to do next. I sent off my letter to Lloyds TSB and they replied and told me they don't agree with the OFT and are in negotiations etc.

I don't know what to do next. I've seen there is a lot of different things to do and it all seems very confusing. They agreed to not add charges anymore as I am having financial issues and going through the CAB, yet a charge of £60 has been added to my account, taking it over my overdraft limit and I expect another charge to be added for this.

The letter you recieved is a standard letter that most people recieve .Read the FAQ's here it has a step by step guide .

Have you opened another account yet ?

You can ask for your £60 in your next letter .You can add any charges to your claim right up to when you submit your claim into court .

Also read the long threads that have been won as these will boost your confidence :)

Yes, I have another account. However my Working Tax Credits are still being paid into my Lloyds TSB account despite my phoning several times to change my account details.

This forum is so huge, its just confusing trying to figure out which to read first and what to do next.

Do you know which letter you sent? Preliminary or Letter before action?

Hi

Well in that case, I suggest you send the Preliminary letter, links below, give them 14 days then send the Letter Before Action (2nd link):

Yes, it was all included in my letter requesting my charges to be returned to me. Its pretty much the same as the letter listed as it has info from the OFT etc. I requested infromation from my bank regarding my charges over the past six years. They replied and I copied them out into my letter and sent it off. This was when they replied to say that they did not agree with the OFT and were still in negotiations with them.
