I bought an Advent laptop just over 2 years ago from PC World. One of the hinges has fallen apart & the bottom part of the screen is now cracked. The laptop has now died completely.I took it to PC World who just accused me of dropping it,which I didn't.They are refusing to recognise the sales of good act, where can I go fromhere.

Trouble is you have to prove (since it is past 6 months) that you didn't do the damage and if it looks akin to drop based damage you don't really stand much of a chance. Best bet, write to head office mentioning SOG act and that you are sick of the rude attitude at your local store, if not sorted soon will seek alternate route to get moeny back ie small claims court.
