sorry i don't know the answer to your question but you might want to pm a moderator to see whether they can help you.

 

you can find them on the first page of cag, right at the bottom of the page. where it says who's online, the mods names are in red writing.

i wouldnt like to be quoted on this, but i imagine that they are correct as they also fall outside of uk taxation laws; hence the term 'offshore'.

if they are sandbagging you, however, they are failing in their fiduciary responsibilities and misleading you as to your legal rights, which the courts would take a very dim view of,

Then I suspect what they say is true. You could do some research to see what laws do apply in Jersey - perhaps write to the law department at one of the universities to see if they can help you. Can't suggest anything else at the moment.
