A lot of charges there. Let us know when you get your information and statements. Don't forget to add on Contractual interest when you fill in the spreadsheets. Have a read on the other threads about that.

Just got my statements through this morning, and am confused as ever.

i have been charged the following.

overlimit charge £20.00

late payment fee. £20.00

these add upto around £500.00

this is charged every month until a couple of months ago, when all they are charging me now is £12.00.

i also have a purchase interest which is different every month and a cash interest.

do i claim back all four charges or just the overlimit and late payment fees.

do i put the contractual interest on.all the rates are different,do i choose the highest one

Hi BB,

You can only claim late payment and overlimit fees. I would choose your current rate of interest and apply it to each charge. Use one of Vamps (look her up) spreadies, it does all the work for you.

If you only change the 8% spreadsheet for 34.9% you're still only claiming simple interest not contractual (compounded daily). I would do a bit more reading around the site about which you want to go for before you begin.

I think ive just worked out the interest on one of vamps spreadsheets.

ive used compounded contractual interest.

cap 1 say i owe £500.00 in charges.ive done it at 34.9%,and it comes back with a figure of,£625.93.

does this sound about right.

BB- you are asking for the £12 charges to be refunded as well aren't you? Every charge is reclaimable, even the £12 one's.
