Hi alison no , resend LBA with a revised schedule of charges and wait your 14 days then if no response go to MCOL it might be worth adding copies of previous letters for their records

Hello Alison,

I am in almost the same position with A&L. I have held my claim back, as other issues with certain DCA's have taken priority. I do intend to continue with the claim in the near future. I will be sending them a reminding letter with an updated claim and allow them 14 days!

Good luck, Jeff.

Fantastic result less than 10 days after filing my County Court Claim I am in possession of a cheque for £436.64 from A&L for the full amount claimed including court costs with the usual letter stating that in no way should this be regarded as an admission of liability on the part of the Company as they still consider the charges to be fair and reasonable. Also states that as I clearly do not accept the terms and conditions for the operation of my account that they will shortly be contacting me to discuss its future operation. Well I am one step ahead as am just waiting for 2 cheques to clear and I will be closing the account anyway.

I would say to all of you who have yet to file your claim go for it and be firm and you will win through. Also many thanks to this site as without that I would not have been able to claim this money.
