Today I realized that I could claim back some charges from Capital One. Just need to ask advice.

Is a claim against a credit card company the same as a bank claim? What charges can you claim back? Do I use the same letter templates? And finally do I ask for my statements from them?

Effectively its the same thing - you can claim against over limit charges, late payment charges etc and the interest applied on those default charges. The one difference with a ccard is you can claim contractual interest rather than just statutory.

I would strongly suggest you read the FAQ's on this site, and look at as many posts as you can in the capital 1 threads, before you get going - it will make it easier for you in the long run.

Good luck! :)
