Hi

Just taking time out to discuss with others a way forward,we feel this needs to get to House of Lords so directions can be made.

A few of us are in contact and we'll post next week how we are going to tackle this.

Cheers

I'm definitely in with my £20.

I understand that there can't be an official CAG fighting fund. But there really isn't anything to stop us supporting jamorgan ourselves, is there? I'd set up an escrow account myself if I could, but I just don't have the knowledge or the time to acquire it at the moment. Does anyone else have some of either to spare?

Count me in too. A class action is a VERY good idea, & we are not going to win against Kensington unless we have the very best of legal representation.

Going it alone is not really an option as far as I can see - Courts just arent set up for the public.

Kensington Mortgages: letter sent 3/10 requesting fee breakdown

Smile bank: letter sent 3/10 requesting fee breakdown

GE Capital: letter sent 3/10 requesting fee breakdown

Any news on discussions for way forward.

Hope you are ok Jamorgan -very brave facing judge barristers etc

If House OF Lords is way forward- good

Suppose a lot of people have put there claims on hold not knowing what to do

Les Gunn certainly seems to have started something here.

Once again Jamorgan greatest respect for you

Should rename Mortgages with ERC -FERRARI MORTGAGES because someone is making plenty.

Im not taking this lightly as i have one.

When informed that the call is recorded for training and monitoring I always say I don't want it used for training.

I always ask for the ICO registration information - they often dont have it, shame i never discuss my personal data unless I know they comply with the DPA.

Finally I always record calls and state at the start of there call. Although I don't have too.

One way forward on this is for an account be set up (say PayPal) into which money can be paid. I am sure there are other ways but it's got to be an easy way of making a payment. Should really be administered by at least 2 trusted members of the forum. Anybody got any suggestions? We got to get this off the ground just in case the worst happens and jamorgan is stuck with bill for doing something we all could benefit from if things went right way.

Guest DEATHLORD

well, I had to stop and think for a while WE ALL must start to work together on this as believe me mortgage companies areand as always we the customers are suffed! I went to a repossision hearing the Judge did not want to know the arrears could be paid off over 4 months and could be proved to be done but WAIT they got poressission so there you have it the court are not there for us.

Even as there is a Court of appeal case Glos v Norgan which very clearly states time to pay arrears in these matters.

So jamprgan let me know what happens. Please.

You can open a Turstee Account for a funding as WE all need to win on this.

Ideally we need to set up the account and start building the money up - my only thought is who would administer it and "police" it if you get my drift.

Any thoughts anyone?

Zoot, would you help us with this one?

The best route, IMO, would be to sort the solicitor first, then pay into their client account, that way it is easily accessible for their disbursements etc, when they need them.

They can give R & P's when we require etc.

Barclays - £276.60

6/11/06 prelim letter sent:eek:

22/11/06 LBA Sent:-)

N1 to be filed 30 Jan 2007

Barclaycard - Awaiting response from prelim + complaint for blatant ignorance. Unsure of Charges.

I thought I had made the CAG position clear in my earlier post. If people wish to go down the route of group action this is something that CAG will not be involved with and people are to do so at their own risk.

If you want to discuss the options on the forum openly in order for you to make connections and contacts with each other then you can do so. But CAG will not be involved in the organising or collecting funds for this.

I think someone with IT skills needs to set up a website for the fighting fund , I can completly understand zootscots atitude . If we want it we have to sort it ,it will be complicated , and the legal implications will be difficult to get through .there is so much red tape over this some one must have the know how to get this of the ground. I know a little but not that much a possible suggestion is a comunity interest company with certain ideas but I' m not sure we need help someone
