This is the first claim that I have ever made against a bank, I have learned a lot from the Forum and feel that I now have a basic understanding of the process.

Was made redundant not too long ago which was traumatic enough without Nationwide putting the boot in. Probably wouldn't even have looked into this if they hadn't been so obviously unhelpful and now they have charges for the last 6 years to be taken into account too!

Two Flex Accounts

Already sent S.A.R and have received copy statements and details on manual intervention, these arrived much sooner than I expected (actually only 8 days later! Is this a record?)

Have sent prelim non compliance as I have not received copy statements for period of time that I know Nationwide have made charges on my accounts.

Whilst waiting for complete details, could someone please help me with the following questions that I have?

Q. As part of my S.A.R request, do Nationwide have to provide details of CCJ's and resultant costs, or do I have to approach Eversheds (their debt recovery company) for the information?

Q. I will be looking for the defaults and CCJ's registered on both accounts to be removed, do I use the standard default template and amend it to include CCJ's.

Q. Nationwide have also made a charging order against my property in regards to one of my accounts, how do I go about getting this removed?

Q. I will be looking to reclaim the court costs resulting from CCJ's, how do I do this and can I apply contractual interest at the unauthorised rate on these charges?

If you have any further information pertinent to cases involving CCJ's, charging orders I would be most grateful.

Hope this helps to get U started?!

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.

And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

(Jules Winnfield)
