Barclays advice

A quick bit of advice needed if poss.

 

I have been through this whole process with First Direct and claimed for nearly £2K and the matter is now settled.

 

Unfortunately, the last couple of months I've racked up £70 worth of charges from Barclays. Not a lot obviously! I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with a phonecall to Barclays with small amounts like these, or should I start down the letter writing route?

Well, there's nothing wrong with trying to ask first, but I'd guess you will still end up going down the same route as before.

 

Perhaps you could write the letter first, give them a coule of days to receive it, then phone to discuss. At least that way you would not be 'wasting' any time...

I guess its personal choice if you want to give them a call or proceed with a letter.

 

As it is a smaller amount you may be more lucky and get it back asap

Have a look at my Barclays thread: They wouldn't budge for £30... so I'm going after them for £320!
