Cabot - harassing me on my work number and leaving obvious debt collector messages on the answering machine which colleagues could have listened to.

Capquest - threatening to send bailiffs to my house without a court order. Sending a pre-litigation letter with a 4 day notice of intended action which they had no intention of carrying out. Generally trying to intimidate me into establishing telephone contact by using an apparently bogus solicitor's firm (HL Legal) in their communications.

"Why CCJ when you can CCA!"

Well done for this. I am trying to organise a mass complaint against Cap 1...and their associated DCAs. Had so much to deal with at the end of last year that a lot of people may have thought I'd stopped but I haven't.

If I can help you here I will. I have experience (and evidence/correspondence etc) of Debitas, CapQuest, HL Legal, DLC to name a few.

'Crimes' would include, ignoring my requests to put everything in writing and still phoning (wireless telegraphy act/harrassment), threatening legal action that they couldn't start (OFT regulations?) and writing letters to look like legal documents including mimicking court claim numbers. Plus a lot of just very unprofessional stuff....

Let me know what you want (allowing me time as my internet access is limited) and I will do whatever is....

NCO - harassment, ringing me up even though they have been told to only correspond in writing. trading standards west yorkshire currently dealing with my complaint, but have told me that on the national database NCO havent been flagged up.

Usual threats of their collection team entering my home and taking goods, court action, not accepting payment unless its full payment. stupid idiots ring me twice a month requesting a make a payment even though they agreed 1 monthly payment on a set date. utter idiots!

Thanks

Capquest - again, threatening baliff action without a court order. Complaint already made to OFT as a misrepresentation of the correct legal position and an attempt to exploit a (perceived) lack of knowledge.

H L Legal - see above

CL Finance/Lewis Group/Cohens - sending a collector to my house who tried to charge me baliffs rates for his visit. Would not confirm his full name or provide an address to write to or a telephone number other than a mobile. Had to be asked three times to leave my property. Put the phone down on me when I phoned his mobile to tell him if he ever darkened my door again I would view it as harrassment.

Westcot - trying to pursue a debt after failing to provide the necessary documentation within the statutory timeframe. Reported to Trading Standards.

I will add to this list I am sure .....

I would like to add Arrow Global LLC and their Solicitor, Eversheds LLC. This is my first brush with a DCA as MBNA screwed up badly and sold the debt without telling us or even informing us that they were issuing a default!

Arrow Global have ignored all my correspondence to them. They have ignored a CCA request, they have instructed their solicitor, Eversheds, to pursue us. Eversheds gave us 5 days to pay them £15K before they instructed bailiffs to enter our home (without a court order?!?!?!?). Eversheds have also ignored all correspondence.

1 ST Credit for applying for and getting an Interim c/o and now applying for final c/o.

The first I knew that 1st Credit now dealt with an MBNA debt was when they wrote asking for full payment within 5 days.

They have never had authorisation to deal with this account verbally or written.

Just waiting for CCA request to see where I stand...

Hi there, they seem to love giving 5 days don't they? If they have bought the debt, are they not authorised to deal with the account? Or is this not the case? I issued a CCA but was ignored

Wescot =still ringing me ,although requested by letter to stop

wescot =have failed to supply CCA ,or DPa ,informed me by letter that my details have been removed from their system, and they would no longer chase the debt, but they still are,by still sending threatening letters for full amount /or court action.

Moorcroft=Did not supply CCA or DPA documents, informed account in dispute, have now sold it to another DCA,

Despite being sent letters asking that all communications be in writing my partner gets up to 4 phone calls a day demanding payment from Sainsbury's Bank Collections while they are in default/committed offence under CCA s78. After offending, they claimed to have already sent a copy of the agreement, but that it has now mysteriously disappeared preventing them sending it.

Link Financial Ltd: phoning neighbours. Abusing my late mother on the phone (threats, foul language). Ignoring CCA request then, after offending, denying responsibility - claiming the request was sent to the wrong office.

Moorcroft - notified me of action they had no intention of taking, complete with a threat of solicitors' costs (all for an account owing £25!). Ignored CCA request, simply paying the £1 toward the account in question.

Westcot acting for British Gas. Ignoring letters, S.10 Notices, continued threatening letters despite being informed that the amount that they (and their client) were claiming was owed is incorrect, despite their client agreeing with me verbally over the phone that the amount was indeed incorrect (by a considerable amount, hence me not paying it).

Then passing information to a third-party solicitors firm for enforcement. I refused to sign for the notice of default as, yep, you guessed it, the amount was incorrect.

1st credit, failing to answer a CCA request and every other request i've ever made to them also refusing payment arrangment, demanding full amount due even though i have sent them a financial statement, phoning and suggesting i should get a loan.

Capquest, saying payments have been late or not arrived ,even though i have proof that capquest have cashed the cheques.

Callserve Limited: Refusing to accknowlege that i want to set up a payment arrangment, sending letter stating that they have given me every opportunity to come to an arrangment but now they will take me to court,i've been having these letters since june of last year.Stating they have sent someone round and i refused to talk to them (this is untrue no one has been to my house).

Commercial Collection Services: Refusing to acckowlege that i have been trying to set up apayment arrangment.

Logic Group plc: Failure to supply CCA,refusing to accept any payments except the full balance, refusing full balance saying they had just put it through to the court.....Getting a CCj without having the correct papers (although i guess that probably is the fault of the judge).

Face 2 Face Contact: Saying payment arrangment is unacceptable and wanting full amount due otherwise they will take me to court.
