I started a claim against Nationwide last may.I got as far as threatening court action but then the Nationwide started closing accounts after a claim.I was unable to open another account as I was made bankrupt several years ago.

I have now opened another bank account and intend to carry on with the claim.

I have found a "last chance" template on this site and intend to send that and then proceed with court action after seven days as advised.

Am I doing the right thing or should I start the claim from the beginning again ?:)

I'm not sure about that, I think that there is a timescale and it would probably be wiser for you to send another prelim letter (asking for it back) and/or another LBA, then take action as it has been 8 months since you started last time.

I know that it will take a little longer but you want it to be right don't you?

I suggest that you start a thread in the section of the forum to do with your bank. Pose the same question and see what response you get.

Keep that thread updated so that site helpers and mods know exactly what stage you are at and can more easily help you.

Good luck
