 Talk Talk Incompetence

Background....

Stopped D/Debit due to no broadband

9 Nov called and reinstated D/Debit. Have name and time of call

7 Dec received Final Demand from credit control advising my credit rating may have been affected and intention to pass account to DCA

15 Dec received letter confirming no D/Debit set up and called AGAIN with details.

18 Dec received Formal Demand from DCA and have had 2 calls from these people. Have bank statement confirming payment processsed FINALLY on 19 Dec.

4 Jan Receive Final Notice from DCA

I am really upset  that Talk Talk's incompetance has placed me in this position and would like advice and wording for:

1. Desist Notice

2. Start proceedings for removal, for what I presume will be a default notice on my credit rating (although I have not checked yet)

3. Any and all other legal options, i.e defamation of character, (if appropriate) etc...etc.

All and any correct advice very welcome. :)
