I’m yet another new member and have spent many hours reading threads on the forum. I found the forum when searching for guidance on completing N1 for a claim I am making for a debt owed to me in a personal capacity. What a fountain of useful information and experience and so many successes and some fantastic advice willingly given by others.

Reading the forum prompted me to look back over my bank account charges as a result (I have over 6 years records in electronic format) and I only found 2 charges of £30 so I’ll not bother going after those, but my kids will have struggled at times and will probably have paid out hundreds in charges so I have drawn up SAR’s for 2 banks so far and am looking at parachute accounts for then before starting on their current bankers. Shame A&L will not take anyone under 21. Was thinking of moving whole family across.

I will also be keeping an eye of the progress on mortgage Early Redemption Charges as one of my kids got stung with one for about £6K after a relationship breakup.

Fantastic work.

If I were you I would go for the £60 you are owed!! At the moment I have the dubious honour of having the smallest claim (£25.40 against Black Horse) on this site. It a matter of principle for me.not the money.

The is a thread in the Stickies regarding parachute accounts. NatWest seems ok as does the Co-op one.

Good luck.

Here's the link regarding the parachute accounts
